OASIA is a brand new boutique surf house set in Weligama on Sri Lanka’s South coast. Based only a short tuk tuk drive from the best beach, point and reef breaks around Weligama Bay, we offer everything you need for a perfect sunshine story.

At OASIA it’s all about feeling at home and sharing unique moments with like-minded people while learning or improving your surf in the warm Indian Ocean, recharging during a smooth yoga session and enjoying delicious home-made food and drinks.

  • A pool, a jungle garden, really cool rooms (3 air-conditioned doubles, 2 suites and 1 twin room). A bar, a terrace and a chill lounge with games and TV. Surf & yoga lessons incl. equipment. Delicious free breakfast, free purified water, free Wi-Fi.

  • We are based in a quiet area of Weligama named Polwatta (‘coconut land’). We chose this place to be our guest’s oasis in Weligama’s hectic every day life.

  • Weligama (‘sandy village’): a busy, scenic fisherman’s village on Sri Lanka’s south coast, 2.5 hours from Colombo airport spoiling us with the best surf conditions for surf beginnners and intermediates.

  • Weligama Beach is only 700m away. 3 minutes by tuk tuk, 12 minutes by walk.

    By tuk tuk:

    10 minutes: Midigama Beach, Mirissa Beach

    15 minutes: Kabalana Beach, Madiha Beach

    30 minutes: Talpe Beach

    1 hour: Hiriketiya Beach, Hikkaduwa
