TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By booking a stay or any other services with OASIA Surf House, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to all our terms and conditions. We know it’s super boring stuff, but please read through it carefully.
AGE I HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
OASIA Surf House is an adults only property. The minimum age of guests is 18 years at the time of check-in.
It is necessary to communicate any relevant medical aspects (e.g. allergies, disabilities, medical incapacities) at check-in.
For bookings related to surfing
By booking a surf lesson or a surf & yoga package, you confirm that you are free of any mental or physical concerns that could present a risk for yourself or other participants during the lessons. It is required that the surfer is capable to swim well in the sea. For the safety of the participant and the unborn, pregnant women are not allowed to participate in surf lessons.
BOOKING PROCESS
In order to make a reservation, a 50% deposit of the total amount of the booking is required. The deposit is refundable until 14 days before your arrival. In case your arrival date is less than 14 days ahead, the whole amount has to be paid in advance and is not refundable. Please note that completing an online reservation does not mean your booking is confirmed. Your booking is confirmed once you receive a payment confirmation of your successful payment. Within 24 hours of your booking you will receive an email from us confirming your reservation.
OASIA Surf House reserves the right to cancel any confirmed booking at any time without explanation. In that case, a full refund of the paid amount will be issued.
DISCOUNTS & PROMOTIONS
Discounts and promotions are only valid for direct bookings through our website oasiasurfhouse.com and can’t be combined. Only one discount code can be used per booking.
PRICES
Prices for bookings on our website are in Euros. Currency exchange fees that might occur need to be paid by the guest. In the uncommon event of price changes on our website, you don’t need to worry: already confirmed bookings will not be affected.
PAYMENT METHODS
Website
On our website we accept different types of payments: CARD PAYMENT (American Express, Mastercard, Visa, China UnionPay), WALLET PAYMENT (Apple Pay, Google Pay) and BANK REDIRECTS (Bancontact, BLIK, EPS, giropay, iDEAL, Sofort). When the payment was successful, you will receive a payment confirmation. In the uncommon event that your payment can’t be proceeded, don’t hesitate to contact us via hello@oasiasurfhouse.com. We are more than happy to assist you with your booking :)
At OASIA Surf House
Expenses that occur during your stay can be paid upon check-out. We accept CASH (Sri Lankan Rupees, Dollars, Euros) and following CREDIT/ DEBIT CARDS: American Express, Diners, Discover, Mastercard and VISA. Please note that a transaction fee of 3% is added to the bill for credit or debit card payments that are made on site at OASIA Surf House.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation of a booking
Please send us an email if you want to cancel a confirmed booking. The cancellation will be valid the day we receive it.
Refunds of a confirmed booking
100% REFUND of the deposit for cancellations received UNTIL 14 DAYS BEFORE YOUR STAY.
NO REFUND of the deposit for cancellations received LESS THAN 14 DAYS BEFORE YOUR STAY.
Refunds will be processed within 30 days from date of cancellation and in the same currency as originally paid.
If a guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent will not be refunded.
Cancellation of extra services booked via OASIA Surf House
Extra services booked via OASIA Surf House (e.g. airport transfers, extra surf lessons, extra yoga lessons, tours) need to be cancelled minimum 24 hours before the event. Otherwise we need to charge the full amount of the booked service.
CHECK-IN I CHECK-OUT
CHECK-IN: 3pm until 8pm.
Early check-ins are based upon availabilty, a fee of 10€ applies.
Late check-in: a fee of 10€ applies for a check-in later than 10pm.
CHECK-OUT: until 11am.
Late check-outs are based upon availabilty, a fee of 10€ applies.
ALCOHOL I OTHER DRUGS
We offer alcoholic beverages to our guests. However, we don’t support or tolerate any abuse of alcohol. In case of alcohol abuse or use of any other drugs, a guest’s stay can be terminated prematurely without issuing any refund.
Guests that are under the influence of alcohol are not allowed to participate in the surf or yoga lessons. There will be no refund issued for the missed activities.
DISCRIMINATION I HOMOPHOBIA I RACISM
At OASIA Surf House we expect our guests to respect each other. We have a 0 tolerance policy towards any acts of discrimination, homophobia and racism. A violation of this rule results in the immediate termination of the offender’s stay without receiving any refund.
LIABILITY
OASIA Surf House is not liable for any theft, damage, health issues or any other events that may happen to the guest or it's company. It is a guest’s responsibility to hold the necessary insurance to cover any such theft, damage, injury during the stay or during any activities during the stay. Therefore we highly recommed to all our guests to get a full travel insurance that covers all stages of the vacation.
Responsibility for intentional damages
Guests are liable for any intentional damages done to the property.
Responsibility for sports equipement
Every guest is responsible for OASIA Surf House’s sports equipement (e.g. surf boards, surf skates, yoga mats) during the use of it. Any damages or loss need to be paid by the costumer.
Surfboard insurance
If you want to be on the safe side, you can book a board insurance (10€ per lesson) for your rental board. The board insurance covers any repairs over a period of 1-3 weeks. The insurance does not cover the loss of the board/ parts of the board or any intentional damages.
SURF & YOGA
The participants are obligated to follow the instructions of the surf coaches and yoga teachers. A breach of that rule might result in the exclusion of the courses without issuing any refund.
SURF & YOGA PACKAGE
The surf & yoga package includes 5 surf and 5 yoga lessons. In case the participant misses an activity, there is no refund given.
Due to unsuitable or unsafe weather conditions (e.g. no waves, lightning, severe storms), it might not be possible to hold a surf lesson on a particular day. We will do our best to reschedule the activity. Please note that there is no possibility to reschedule, there will be no refund issued in that case. OASIA Surf House will organize an alternative subject to possibilities.
TRANSPORTATION
The use of transportation services of any kind (e.g. transport to and from the surf spots, airport transfer) are at a guest’s own risk. OASIA is not responsible for any damages, injuries or deaths that may occur during these transports.
IMAGES I VIDEOS I SOCIAL MEDIA
Since we are regularly making pictures and videos for our social media activities, guests might be photographed and/or recorded. If you don’t want to be photographed and/ or recorded or simply don’t want the material to be used for advertising, please let us know on the day of check-in.
